What Does It Mean When A Dog’s Nose Is Dry?

Common reasons your dog’s nose might be dry:

• Sun exposure – similar to a sunburn, your dog’s nose can get dry after being in the sun for a while.
• Dried out during the Winter – your dog’s nose might be chapped from the Winter weather.
• Heat – Your dog may have been playing or be a bit hot. Once they cool down and drink some water, it will moisten back up.
